Online Program - Birding Montana: Where Prairie Meets the Mountains @ Zoom Online Conference

Birding tends to be best at the confluence of habitats. The more habitats you can visit, the higher the diversity of birds. Join local birder Adam Sell as he recounts a 2019 Red Hill Birding tour to Montana and the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone that yielded 159 species, including highlights such as Black Rosy Finch, Mountain Plover, American Dipper, Baird’s Sparrow, William’s Sapsucker, McCown’s Longspur, Sprague’s Pipit, Clark’s Nutcracker and many more. From endless prairie to alpine tundra and everything in between, Big Sky Country does not disappoint.
