North America’s smallest and most colorful falcon, the American Kestrel, has been enduring widespread declines throughout many regions for several decades, yet researchers aren’t exactly sure why. Illinois State University graduate student and researcher Taylor Joray will cover the ins and outs of the American Kestrel, including current efforts to better understand the regional declines in breeding Kestrels and actions being taken to reverse this trend.
