Saving Waterfowl Habitat: Ducks Unlimited at Work @ Heller Nature Center | Highland Park | Illinois | United States

Since its founding in the wake of the Dust Bowl in 1937, Ducks Unlimited has helped conserve over 13.6 million acres of wetland habitat across North America, including 46,000 acres in Illinois. Regional director Kyle Stefancin will explain how DU became the world’s largest and most effective private waterfowl and wetland conservation organization, how it prioritizes and funds its work, and current efforts like its $2 billion Rescue Our Wetlands campaign.
