Going Bat-ty in Lake County @ Location To Be Determined | Highland Park | Illinois | United States

Lake County is home to eight species of bat. Eric Ness, Lake County Forest Preserve District wildlife ecologist, will introduce us to each species, their unique life history characteristics and ecological roles, LCFPD’s efforts to conserve habitat for bats and other wildlife, and the Citizen Science Acoustic Bat Monitoring Program that is documenting the diversity and distribution of bat species in Illinois.

ZOOM PARTICIPATION INSTRUCTIONS

The presentations will be on Zoom. You must install the free Zoom application (Zoom Client for Meetings) on your computer. We strongly recommend doing this BEFORE the events.
